About La Cana

La Cana is a white wine from Rías Baixas produced by Bodegas La Cana.

This wine is a single-varietal Albariño, a variety highly characteristic of the D.O. Rías Baixas. The vineyards, planted 50 years ago, thrive on very sandy soils under a consistently humid climate throughout the year.

The vinification process is entirely artisanal. La Cana undergoes partial fermentation in barrels and stainless steel tanks, and is aged for 5 months on its lees.

2023

La Caña 2023 is a barrel-aged white wine. On the nose, it features prominent notes of green apple and peach, accompanied by a subtle citrus hint. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with a well-integrated acidity that enhances its fruity flavours. Its finish is long and elegant, leaving a pleasant and lingering sensation. Perfect for those seeking a white wine with character and personality.
2013 It has an unctuous, dry and very fresh palate. High acidity which balances the set and provides it with depth. Average finish with a nice persistence.

Pale golden colour with waxy edges. Clean and very bright, with very thin and elegant tears.

Clean and marked nasal aromas with a medium intensity. Its notes of yellow stone fruit, citrus and tropical fruits, along with its hints of flowers, are integrated into a harmonious set.
